Steve Martin lead the main talks at this years event held at Amport House. Steve served as a Naval Seaman and SNCO for 30 years,
leaving in 2007. After a few years as Executive Secretary of the Naval Christian Fellowship, Steve now works for Christian Vision For Men
as their Operations Director. Paul Collins leads the final talk as part of Communion worship.

Andy is a tutor at CWR, a Christian training charity. He is a former pastor of churches in the south of England and has
written a number of books including Coached by Christ, A Life to Die For and Bible 60 - Genesis to Revelation in 60 days.
He also hosts a programme on Christian leadership for Premier Christian Radio. In these five recordings he speaks on our

Autumn Event 2012 - High Leigh Matt King
This is another visit from Matt to an AFCU event.
Matt comes from St Mary’s Longfleet, in Poole, where he is part of the teaching team. Matt is a former Royal Marine bandsman
who is now a professional percussionist, currently Principal Percussion with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Professor of
Percussion at the RM School of Music.
At this weekend he shares thoughts on James with a series of talks on 'Practical Descipleship'.

Summer Weekend - Lübbecke Gordon Hickson
Gordon has spoken before at AFCU gatherings and is familar with service life having been an Army Officer
before later becoming a business director, then Crusade Director for Reinhard Bonnke in Africa and Asia,
then a UK based prominant Christian minister and now the National Coordinator for the Mahabba Network which mobilises
ordinary Christians to reach Muslims for Christ.
At this weekend, entitled 'Breakthrough', he talks about the disciple Peter, his coming to faith, his testing,
and his influence at a time of persecution.

James has been rector two churches in Yeovil, Somerset since 2006. Here he speaks on the theme 'Active Service' from the old Testemant book of Joshua.
Paul Diamond is a leading Barrister having acted as Counsel in cases such as Pro-Life/abortion, the wearing of emblems relating
to Christian belief and purity, free speech and many others. He is also the Standing Counsel to the Christian Legal Centre.
